The OrthoPawdic© Donut Dog Bed combines a medically supportive mattress with a cosy viscofleece edge. In contrast to conventional cushion beds, the centrepiece - a flat, multi-layer mattress made of high-density 45D memory foam and supportive comfort foam - provides real orthopaedic relief for the spine and joints. Your dog lies evenly, stably and regeneratively - particularly important for osteoarthritis, HD or in old age.

The wide edge is filled with 100% viscofibre and invites you to lean back and snuggle up. The flakes come from offcuts from our mattress production and are sustainably reused by us. They are made of orthopaedic material, but are not suitable as a load-bearing surface. That is why we deliberately use a stable mattress in the centre - that is the difference to conventional donut beds with pure filling.

The cover made from OEKO-TEX certified RePET teddy fabric is soft, robust and water-repellent. Thanks to the integrated dirt and moisture protection, which is usually available separately from other manufacturers, the mattress inside remains hygienically protected. The entire cover can be removed using high-quality YKK zips and washed at 30 °C.

Platziere das OrthoPawdic® Donut Hundebett an einem ruhigen, zugfreien Ort, den dein Hund bereits als Rückzugsort kennt – zum Beispiel im Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer oder in seiner Lieblingsecke. Die runde Form mit erhöhtem Rand lädt zum Einkuscheln ein und gibt ein Gefühl von Sicherheit, während die flache Matratze im Zentrum für eine gesunde Liegeposition sorgt.

Ideal ist das Bett für Hunde, die gerne eingerollt oder mit dem Kopf erhöht liegen. Der weiche, aber stützende Rand entlastet die Nackenmuskulatur, während die Matratze die Gelenke und Wirbelsäule dauerhaft unterstützt.

Durch die wasser- und schmutzabweisenden Eigenschaften eignet sich das Bett auch für Welpen, Senioren oder Hunde nach Operationen. Für mehr Hygiene kannst du das Innenkissen regelmässig auslüften und den Bezug bei Bedarf in der Maschine waschen.

Bezug reinigen:
Der Bezug ist über einen langlebigen YKK-Reissverschluss abnehmbar und kann bei 30 °C in der Maschine gewaschen werden. Bitte keinen Trockner verwenden, da dies die Lebensdauer des Materials verkürzen kann. Am besten lufttrocknen lassen.

Schnelle Reinigung zwischendurch:
Dank der wasser- und schmutzabweisenden Beschichtung lassen sich kleine Verschmutzungen einfach mit einem feuchten Tuch entfernen – ganz ohne aggressive Reinigungsmittel.

Innenleben pflegen:
Die Matratze und das Kissen im Inneren sollten regelmässig ausgelüftet werden, um Feuchtigkeit zu reduzieren und Frische zu erhalten. Die Füllung muss nicht gewaschen werden.

Schutz erhalten:
Der mitgelieferte Schmutz- und Nässeschutz schützt die Matratze zuverlässig vor Flüssigkeiten und Verunreinigungen und sollte bei Bedarf ebenfalls gereinigt werden.

• Free shipping from 99 € order value in zone 1
• For all other zones, the regular shipping costs according to the checkout apply.
  

Shipping process:
Orders received Monday-Friday by 12:00 noon are usually dispatched on the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 will be processed the following working day. Pre-orders and unpaid orders are excluded from this time frame.

Dispatch from several warehouses:
We ship from fulfilment centres in Germany and Poland. If your order is split into several parcels for logistical reasons, we only charge the shipping costs once per order.

Shipping to Switzerland:
We are a Swiss company, but our warehouses are located in the EU. Shipping to Switzerland is an import. There may be additional costs such as Swiss VAT (8.1%) and handling fees from customs or the shipping service provider. These costs are borne by the recipient.

Return shipment

You can return your Dog Bed within 30 days of receipt. So that we can offer you an uncomplicated process, you must register the return in advance via our returns portal. This allows us to check whether the product fulfils the return criteria and then provide you with all the necessary information for the return shipment.

Return criteria:

• The bed must be in its original condition.
• All labels and barcodes must remain on the product.
• The cover and inner cushion must be packed separately, each in its own packaging.
• The bed must be vacuum-sealed again before being returned so that it does not exceed DHL's shipping dimensions. A suitable vacuum bag is included with your bed.
• Heavily soiled, damaged or incomplete products cannot be returned.
  

You are responsible for the return shipping costs. As this is a bulky product, the costs may be higher than for smaller items, depending on the size and shipping service provider.

Sustainability & conscious consumption

Every return means additional transport, packaging and CO₂ emissions. We would therefore encourage you to seek advice from us in advance if you are unsure about size or product choice. This way, we can work together to ensure that you get the right bed for your dog right from the start.
